Board of Ministry Weekend – 2024 @ SCCC

April 5-6, 2024

The Board of Ministry Weekend is for ALL District License and Ordination applicants and their spouses.   This overnight event at Scottsville Camp and Conference Center begins with check-in at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 5 and ends at approximately 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 6.  Registration includes a room in Hamiter Lodge, lunch and dinner Friday, and breakfast and lunch on Saturday.

Attendance is a required part of the application process.  Each applicant couple will have a private interview with members of the Board of Ministry, engage in times of fellowship and worship, and attend ministry-focused workshops, discussions, and seminar sessions.

The development and support of ministers-in-training is a shared value – and a shared responsibility – within the church.  The cost of the Ministry Weekend, therefore, should be shared as an investment in our future:

• $75.00 paid by the ministerial applicant’s local church
• $75.00 paid by the ministerial applicant personally (The registration fee covers both the applicant and his or her spouse.)
• Remainder to be covered by the District
