Nazarene Safe Training

It is essential that all local churches have an active safety program – and that staff and workers are trained (AND receive refresher training every 1-2 years): Please review this information on safety program training available this Spring.

NazareneSafe Training – Faith Fellowship Church of the Nazarene, Terrell TX   –  Saturday, March 23  – 9:00am to 12:30pm

Who should attend?: Pastors, staff, children & youth lay leaders & workers, AND all Childrens Camp and Teen Camp workers & volunteers. Come either as a “first timer” or as a refresher training.  All District churches must have a NazareneSafe or MinistrySafe (or equivalent ) program in place, with ongoing training for staff and workers. Why?:

• Our first concern must be for the welfare of the vulnerable members of our congregation or outreach.
• There is significant legal exposure for your church, our District and the Nazarene Denomination if we fail to take reasonable and appropriate actions to prevent sexual or other misconduct in our facilities or at our sponsored activities.
