North/East Texas is where the rural and urban come together in exciting ways. Though each church has its own unique setting and challenges, whether we are from the city or the country we know we are in this together! We believe our diversity of thought, backgrounds, and life experiences help us be better witnesses for God. To navigate this we have adopted this ancient Christian saying:

We join with all true believers in proclaiming the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
WE ARE A HOLINESS PEOPLE
God, who is holy, calls us to a life of holiness.
WE ARE A MISSIONAL PEOPLE
As a sent people, we respond to the call of Christ and live empowered by the Holy Spirit to “go into all the world” witnessing to the Lordship of Christ. Our mission begins in worship, encourages believers toward Christian maturity through discipleship, and ministers to our world through compassion and evangelism.
The North/East Texas District Church of the Nazarene is home to over 65 churches across North & East Texas.
